Beaumont police are investigating a shooting on 8th Street. The victim forced his way into his
ex-girlfriends last night. He was shot in the leg and hit in the head with a bottle during a confrontation
inside the home. When police arrived, a female in the home refused to come outside and attempted
to grab an officer’s weapon. She was arrested. The shooting victim was transported to the hospital.
