KKMY Announcer / Promotions Director 5/3/12
Clear Channel Radio Beaumont, TX has an opening for a full-time Announcer/Promotions Director for our Rhythmic station KKMY.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
On-air announcing of programs, commercials, and other materials.
Operate on-air controls console.
Attend live, in-person appearances as scheduled by the station at scheduled times.
Follow and enforce FCC regulations, station and company policies.
Plan and develop station promotions.
Coordinate activities of other departments involved in the execution of station promotions, contests and remotes.
Other related tasks in both programming and promotions.
Report directly to Operations Manager.
Requirements / Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must be able to operate an on-air control board, CD player and remote broadcast equipment. Digital experience preferred for production and on-air board operation. Must be able to interact with the listening audience and clients in a professional manner. Knowledge of Windows 95 or XP required. Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations.
