Roy West is a lifelong Texan. He was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from Lamar University and then received his Master's from Southern Methodist University. Previous to getting in the mortgage business, he was an owner and partner in a local security guard and security alarm company. Roy has many years experience as a business owner and working with the public here in Southeast Texas.
Roy believes it is important to give back to the community and serves on several local community and charitable board of directors. He is active in his church and has two grown children. He enjoys exercise and plays tennis regularly. Roy is a season ticket holder / tailgater of Lamar University Football and also enjoys going to the Lamar University Basketball games.
