About Harold Mann:

I grew up in Falls City, Nebraska and moved to Red Oak, Iowa for my final two years of high school. Ironically enough both schools are Orange & Black Tigers. My first fulltime radio job was in Tarkio, Missouri (KTRX). I moved to Texas 26 years ago where I was in Dumas, home of the Ding Dong Daddies, from 1984-1990. I came here to KLVI in 1991, left for Marble Falls, Texas from 2001-03 and returned home to Southeast Texas. Radio is in my blood as my father was in radio for more than 30 years. I really enjoy providing news and sports coverage for the people of Southeast Texas. Sports teams I follow are the Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Royals ( yes I admit it ), Nebraska and Lamar.

NBA Playoffs
Tuesday 05-14-2013 1:22pm CT

I know I am off to a late start to talk NBA playoffs, but some eyebrows were lifted when Chicago took game one of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Heat. Now Miami has won three in a row and getting ready to slam the door on the Bulls. I think the Grizzlies going up 3-1 on the Tunder is a surprise, although Memphis is tough at home. I think it will now come down to the Heat and the Spurs in the finals.

Final Four
Tuesday 04-02-2013 4:52am CT

WOW !. This year's NCAA basketball tourney saw some of the biggest upsets in years. Only one (Louisville) top seed made it to the Final Four. Wichita State schocked several people and made it to Atlanta. My prediction is that Louisville will be playing Big East Conference for Syracuse in the finals with Louisvill cutting down the nets on Monday.

Sweet 16
Monday 03-25-2013 5:53am CT

I could hear brackets all across the country hitting the floor this weekend and several upsets marked the first weekend of the NCAA torney. I have 10 of the 16 on my sheet. Here is who I think will be in the Fianl Four. Louisville, Indiana, Kansas, Ohio State. It would be great to see Florida Gulf Coast get there.
