Jim Love has been a familiar voice in Southeast Texas for four decades. He is a graduate of Evadale High School and Lamar University. For many years Jim was heard on KYKR before moving from county music to talk radio in 1995. Jim says working with Al Caldwell on the morning show is the best job of his radio career. He handles the morning chores solo from 5 to 6 and joins Al at 6. Jim is also the host of My Home Answer Man on Saturday from 10 to 1. Jim is active in the community and is past President of the Press Club of Southeast Texas. He is a board member of the Fire Museum of Texas located in Beaumont. He is also a firefighter and serves as Training Captain and Treasurer for the Evadale Volunteer Fire Department. In his spare time Jim enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with his wife Linda and his children and grandchildren.
