I guess we’ll know a little more about who is  “in touch” with their inner self regarding foreign policy when we hear the candidates tonight. There’s been a little rumbling about Iran making overtures of backing off their nuclear production. Most of us don’t believe it. Most of us do not think they want peace. Most of us think they are crazy. That being said, like most of the rest of the world they are broke. Their currency has devalued by better than half. Much as in the case with North Korea, soldiers cannot fight on an empty stomach.  Iran is broke. They need to feed their people. But they are still crazy. I don’t know if either candidate has a plan. What I do know is so far, they have not been headed off at the pass. We cannot afford another war(we are broke too) and they can’t afford one unless someone comes to their aid. Let’s see if the two guys on the tube tonight come up with anything solid.
